Unheated, Unprocessed & Unfiltered Honey has Many Health Benefits

by Susan Williams |

Here are a few:

  1. To improve health, use honey instead of sugar as a sweetener. Use it with a cup of tea, coffee or latte. Use it in your oatmeal, over pancakes and waffles, in baking cakes and muffins.
  2. Raw honey contains Vitamin B, C, D and E. To help soothe sore throats, laryngitis, colds, bronchitis and sinus problem, mix lemon and honey with a little warm water and drink it while it is warm.
  3. For people who have asthma, try drinking one teaspoon of honey in warm water, every day. This should help you breathe better.
  4. Honey is great for the skin. To help teenagers with acne, encourage your teen to consume two teaspoons of honey or add it to their tea or lemonade.
  5. For a great facial treatment, or to give your skin protection from the sun, use honey as a moisturizing treatment. Smooth a small amount of raw honey with warm water lightly over your skin. Wash off with warm water.
