Acidosis, A Modern Day Plague

300-acidosis

by Randy G | Ph balance is a term referring to whether a food or liquid is either alkaline or acidic. Ph is a chemistry term that means “Potential Hydrogen”. When we calculate the ph of a liquid we are measuring the number hydroxyl (OH-) ions which are negative and therefore alkaline forming, as opposed to the amount of hydrogen (H+) ions that are positive and therefore acid forming. Neutrality is measured as 7 on the acid/alkaline scale. The ph scale ranges from 0 (the highest … [Read more...]

Balance Your Diet, Reclaim Your Health By Dr. Robert O. Young and Shelly Redford Young A Book Review by June Milligan, M.Ed., CCHt This is not the first book about the benefits of a correct alkaline/acid balance in your body, and it won’t be the last. Dr. Young explains why the pH level (acid/alkaline balance) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies. It seems that the entire metabolic process depends upon an alkaline environment. Chronic over-acidity corrodes body tissue, … [Read more...]

Why You Should Care About pH

why-care-about-ph-300

The over-acidification of the body is the single underlying cause of all disease. All Disease?  How Can That Be? The pH level (the acid-alkaline measurement) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies. Each of the body’s fluids has a specific pH value, and extended acid imbalances of any kind are not tolerated well by the body. The entire metabolic process depends on a balanced internal alkaline environment. A chronically over-acidic pH corrodes body tissue, slowly eating into … [Read more...]

pH Balance, The Cause of Disease

Have you ever wondered if many of the diseases raging through our society have a common cause? Many doctors, herbalists and nutritionists believe that the explanation may come down to three words:  Acid Alkaline Imbalance. Over-acidity, which is very common today, can become a dangerous condition that weakens all body systems. It gives rise to an internal environment conducive to disease, as opposed to a pH-balanced environment which allows normal body function necessary for the body to … [Read more...]
