Did you know that when you donate your unwanted electronics to a charitable organization you may be able to apply the donation towards your income tax return? Not all charities will accept all electronics, so call first and ask for their requirements.
To find your nearest e-waste collection site, check out the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection’s web site, http://ndep.nv.gov. Use their Programs drop-down menu and select “e-waste”. You can also call the Northern Nevada contact, Chet Sergent, 775-687-9466 or in Southern Nevada, Kathryn Fergus, 775-486-2850 ext. 251.
