Curamin: End Pain Now

250-curaminby The Vitamin Connection |

Stronger than Steroids and Cortisone

In the December issue of Healthy Beginnings magazine we featured a supplement called Curamin. The response to this product was so significant that we decided to break it down to see how it works. It is claimed that all the ingredients are natural having a powerful impact on acute or chronic pain from arthritis, injuries, soreness, inflammation or other maladies.

Many health concerns today are related to inflammation. When you relieve inflammation, you relieve pain. From research we have learned that of anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin or ibuprofen over time have side effects, such as causing irritation and sometimes damage to the stomach, intestinal tract, kidneys and liver.

The all-natural combination of Curamin ingredients are said to relieve pain without any side effects. Common herbs such as turmeric and boswellia have been known for years to relieve pain and inflammation. Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, is a better anti-inflammatory than cortisone, one of the most powerful steroids today. Researchers have isolated a factor known as a curcuminoid, which is approximately 100 times as potent as regular curcumin in reducing inflammation.

Rather than relying on codeine or vicodin to numb pain, this Curamin formula, combines its curcuminoid content with the natural feel-good painkiller DLPA. DLPA has been scientifically documented to foster the buildup of feel-good endorphins in the brain, acting on the opioid receptors. Also Nattokinase clears inflammation in the bloodstream to speed nutrients to where they’re needed.

Ingredients:
Curcumin: is the principal curcuminoid of the popular Indian spice turmeric, which is a member of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). It is the active ingredient in turmeric.

Curcuminoids: tiny sub-particles that make up curcumin. Also, derivative of a curcumin with different chemical groups that have been formed to increase solubility of curcumins and make them suitable for drug formulation. Used in cosmetics, has anti-oxidant activity, anti-inflamatory activity and carcinogenesis activity (which has a colorectal cancer preventive agent).

DLphenylalanine (DLPA): a mixture of essential amino acid Lphenylalanine and Dphenylalanine.

Boswellia: an herb with the active constituent, Boswellic Acid, is a pyrazoline derivative shown to be very effective in supporting healthy joints and inflammation.

Nattokinase: an enzyme extracted and purified from a Japanese food called Natto. Natto is a cheese-like food made from fermented soybeans
There are hundreds of studies that demonstrate the anti-inflammatory powers of the herb curcumin. In one double-blind study, curcumin matched cortisone as a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. Best-selling author Jean Carper reports in Food—Your Miracle Medicine that its active ingredient “is an anti-inflammatory agent on a par with cortisone, and has reduced inflammation in animals and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis in humans.”
If you are concerned about pharmaceutical drugs with all their side effects, and if you are tired of everyday pain, then the above combination of all natural ingredients may be the answer you are looking for. When in doubt always consult your physician or health care practitioner.
